What are the most common complications from the Vaser liposelection procedure if it's performed on the abdomen (below waist and above pubic area)?
The complications of Vaser liposuction are similar to all other types of tumescent liposuction if done skillfully. The most common complications are contour irregularities and seroma [a fluid pocket in the treated area]. Much less likely a chance of infection, Deep Vein Thrombosis, DVT, blood loss. However, there is some risk of burns from the Vaser and increased risk of nerve injury that are not seen with traditional tumescent liposuction. Wishing you the best of health.
