What is the best treatment or combination treatments for nasolabial facial folds? If you suggest facial fillers as one of the treatments, what one or combination of different fillers is best?
For an immediate result you can treat your nasolabial folds (laugh lines)
with Hyaluronic acid fillers (HA's), such as Restylane, Juvederm and
Perlane. The HA's can plum up the folds to give you a younger look. The
results can last up to a year depending on the product used and how your
body metabolizes it.
You can also do a Thermage treatment to create collagen and skin
tightening. The Thermage treatments will tighten the collagen fibers that
build the foundation or support structure of your skin as well as help
create new collagen. It generally takes 3 to 6 months to see the full
effect of Thermage. Thus, we recommend our clients to do the Thermage
treatment first, followed by the HA fillers a week later. By the time the
HA fillers loses its effects, you will see the effects of the
Thermage, thus you should have a long lasting result beyond a year.

concern, please consult your doctor.

Dear Patient,
It is difficult to give a proper treatment plan with out an examination.
However the most popular treatments for Nasolabial folds are fillers,
Radiesse being one of the best for this area and lasts the longest. If you
would like to treat the overall appearance, tone, and texture I would
recommend doing IPL treatments in combination with the filler.

You have lots of injection options for nasolabial folds. We use Restylane and Juvederm because they are easy to work with, reversible and have few side effects. There are also longer lasting filler options such as Radiesse. Fotofacial treatments will not help for the
nasolabial folds.
