I heard that twice as much Dysport needed to be injected compared to Botox for the same results. Is this true? Why would this be the case?
You cannot compare the units of Botox and Dysport. They are apples and oranges. The bottom line is that the results should be equal and the price should be the same. In some patients, however, I do see the Dysport working more strongly and lasting longer.

Actually we have found that you need three times as many units of Dysport for the same results as Botox. But this is not necessarily an issue because we sell three units of Dysport for the same amount as one unit of Botox. So in effect, even though different amounts are
required, it is the same cost to the patient. We think you should focus on the results and overall cost rather than the exact translation between Botox and Dysport units. If the results are good and the price right for you, then you should not worry about the conversion numbers.
